Weekly Preview: January 21 - January 25

Welcome to the Spring 2013 Semester!  There is always a lot happening during the first weeks of the semester so make sure you're checking your UMail often and reading everything carefully.  We'll be posting information here to help keep you organized and informed. 

Classes start on Tuesday, January 22.  This will be a normal Tuesday schedule.
It's a really good idea to print a copy of your schedule before the first day of classes.

There will be a Writing Placement Test on Tuesday, January 22 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm in Tobin 204.  Visit the Writing Center's page to learn more.
Foreign Language Exemption Tests
Spanish, Latin, and German: Tuesday, January 22 at 6:00pm in the Campus Center Room 162.
French: Wednesday, January 23 & Thursday, January 24 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm in the Learning Resource Center, 10th Floor, DuBois Library.  This is a proctored online exam.


Interested in Engineering?  Come to an information session and speak with Engineering advisors to see if this is the major for you!  Bring a copy of your transcript to Goodell 604 from 4:00pm - 5:00pm on Thursday, January 24 or Monday, January 28.



Upcoming Information and Dates:
The Boltwood Project will be holding recruitment sessions from 6:00pm - 8:00pm in the Campus Center Auditorium on Monday, January 28, Tuesday January 20, and Wednesday January 30.  You must attend a meeting in order to join this community service learning program.

There will be an R1 Math Exemption Test on Monday, January 28 at 6:30pm in Marcus 131.
