Weekly Preview: April 9 - 13

The Academic Advising Link will be closed on Sunday, April 8.  It will reopen on Monday at 4:00pm.  Peer Advisors are available to help you with SPIRE, answer questions about your Fall schedule, talk about majors, and more.

Interested in Engineering?  There will be an information session for students who want to learn more about the majors offered through the College of Engineering in 604 Goodell on Monday, April 9 from 3:30pm - 4:30pm.  You must bring an up-to-date transcript (not an ARR), and a Curriculum Worksheet if you have one.

Do Something! Join Global Pathways Students for a Student Panel Presentation to learn about opportunities for you to experience the world beyond UMass. Come hear from students who have taken advantage of these opportunities through participation in the following UMass programs & offices: Five-College Interchange, Domestic Exchange, UACT & Alternative Spring Break, Civic Engagement & Service Learning, Career Services and the International Programs Office. There will be Walk In Registration Assistance for students who are Undeclared on Friday, April 13 from 10:00am - 12:00pm in 613 GoodellClick to read our earlier post on how to prepare before you come in to meet with an advisor.  If you are unable to come on Friday, we have Peer Advisors in the Learning Commons in the Library who are ready to help you!  The Academic Advising Link is open Sunday - Thursday from 4:00pm - 8:00pm.

Upcoming Dates and Important Information

If you're interested in pursing a Resource Economics major, the deadline to complete an Online Statement of Interest is next Friday, April 20 at noon in order to register for Fall courses as a major.

Applications to apply to the Isenberg School of Management are now available online.  Applications for the BBA (Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, Operations Management), Hospitality & Tourism Management or Sport Management majors are due by Tuesday, May 1.

Have you looked at your final exam schedule?  Do you have two or more at the same time?  Three or more on the same day?  You need to talk to the Registrar now!  Don't wait until the day of the exam.  Read our earlier post to learn more.
