HOLDS
A hold on your account means you need to address something before enrolling in classes. They will be listed in the "Holds" box on the right hand side of your Student Center page (just below the Message Center box):SOME HOLDS MAY KEEP YOU FROM ENROLLING IN CLASSES ENTIRELY. How will you know? It will say "Prevents Enrollment" as it does above. You want to click on the link that says "details" to see what the hold actually is:
You want to be sure to take care of the "Prevents Enrollment" holds AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so that you can add your classes without interruption. In order to see who you contact, click on the link that says "Prevents Enrollment" (or whatever it says on the left under "Hold Items") and more information will appear:
Some 'common' holds are:
- Bursar bill not paid
- Incomplete Immunization Records
- Academic Advising Needed
Don't let a hold keep you from getting into classes you need!
